Sam Doery

A graduate of RMIT in Remedial Massage and Myotherapy, Sam has spent countless hours working with and treating the wonderful culturally and ethnically diverse people you will meet in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

Sam primarily focuses on goal setting for his clients, the intention being injury prevention and recovery. This is done by identifying key areas within a client’s lifestyle that could be adapted to make positive changes, such as proper work ergonomics, or by using a series of corrective exercises. Sam’s strong emphasis on clinical testing and assessment ensures a comprehensive approach to planning care management for his clients.

Sam is experienced in providing the following treatments:

  • (TPT) trigger point therapy
  • dry needling
  • deep tissue massage
  • sports massage
  • exercise rehabilitation
  • MFR (myofascial release)
  • cupping
  • relaxation massage
  • PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation)
  • MET (muscle energy techniques)

As a passionate skier and swimmer, Sam has personally relied upon receiving manual therapies in the past. This has given him a strong appreciation and understanding of the way his treatments will work for, and positively affect, other people.
