A skilled Myotherapist & Remedial Massage Therapist, Marcus developed a love of contact sports from a very early age, which exposed him to all aspects of physical training – preparation, competition and recovery.
Marcus’ past experience in aiding fellow athletes to train and recover from their injuries, kick-started his interest in physical therapy. He received his Diploma of Remedial Massage and Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy from RMIT. And most recently he was very happy to find out that he was accepted into the Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT and is looking forward to deepen his clinical knowledge and gain additional skills into a broad range of new techniques.
Deep Tissue Massage and Joint Mobilisation, complemented by Dry Needling, Dynamic & Static Cupping, and the use of IASTM tools (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation) are his preferred methods of treatment, as Marcus believes such combinations to be the most effective for achieving positive long-term results.
With thirty years of experience as a professional musician, Marcus has a passion for rhythm and movement. Happily married with 3 young children, Marcus also appreciates the importance of stress management and work-life balance.
